What is there to do in Clochán House?
On arrival, Leaders will design an individual Person-Centred Plan which empowers the leader to create their own experience of Respite while staying in Clochán House. A time table is then shaped to include the individual’s choices of daily activities, meal preferences, day trips, social outings, sporting events and more.

- Hairdresser: A hairdresser is available at Leaders request at local rates, either in the salon or on site in Clochán House.
- Beauty Treatments: A nail bar is available for Personal Assistants to do basic hand and nail beauty treatments.
- Chiropodist: Every Friday, the Chiropodist calls to attend to the Leaders’ foot care, which is free of charge should the Leader choose to avail of the service.
- Visitors: Clochán House has a specific visitor’s room for family and friends to visit their loved ones and spend some private time together.
- Garden: Clochán House has a wheelchair accessible garden with beautiful flowers to enjoy, a smoking shelter for Leaders to use if they wish and benches to sit out if the weather if it's fine.
- Information Technology: Each bedroom in Clochán House has a TV, and the Lounge has a TV and DVD player to enjoy watching DVD’s and movies with other Leaders. There is an audio tape player in the Activities Room for individuals who may wish to meditate, pray or simply relax and listen to some music. Leaders’ are more than welcome to bring their own tapes, CD’s or IPod’s.
